HOW TO GET SUPPORT
Our hub is on the second floor of the Blanchardstown Library at the shopping centre. You can ring us for more information at 01 890 5810 or email us at email@example.com.
WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU CALL OR COME IN?
We take a few details from you about what’s bothering you. For some people we’ll be able to offer you advice and guidance right away. For others we can offer 1 to 6 one-to-one sessions with a support worker who will help you identify problems you might like to work on, goals you could set for yourself, and ways to achieve them. For others, we can link you with the most appropriate service for you. The first meeting you have with us does not need to take long, it’s voluntary, you can leave at any time, and also, it’s free.
WHAT KIND OF PROBLEMS DO WE HELP PEOPLE WITH?
Whatever you are facing in your life, it is probably a good idea to share it with others. People come to us with problems in relationships, with school, with family, with alcohol or drugs, with work and every other area of life. No problem is too small: it helps to talk about it.
If you find you’re in a low mood a lot of the time, if you get angry very easily, or if you feel things are getting on top of you, we might be able to help.
Our staff are professionally trained and hold all necessary accreditations to support young people. Our clinical practice is overseen by our Clinical Governance group to ensure we operate the highest professional standards.
Jigsaw Dublin 15 aims to involve the whole community in better supporting young people’s mental health and wellbeing.
