Colleen Kearney

Colleen Kearney

Jigsaw Clinician

Colleen Kearney has a degree in Psychology and a Social work qualification. Colleen has experience in working within a child and adolescent mental health service as well as working with young people in the care system. Colleen is particularly passionate about early intervention for young people, as she recognises how having early therapeutic intervention can have a significant role in preventing long term or enduring mental health difficulties developing. Colleen feels its a priviliege to work in Jigsaw and to be able to help young people through their journey in life.

Una is a qualified social worker and youth worker and has a wide range of experience working with children, young people and parents. Una enjoys offering therapeutic support to young people and enabling people to make positive choices and decisions.
 

Emma Coyle

Emma Coyle

Administration Officer

Emma has an honours degree in Community & Family Studies. Emma joined the Jigsaw Donegal Team in 2015 as Administration Officer. Emma is particularly passionate about ensuring that every young person who comes to Jigsaw Donegal is welcomed in a friendly, caring manner as she recognises that it can take a lot of courage to come to Jigsaw for the first time. Emma also assists Karen and the Youth Advisory Panel on their many varied projects.

Karen Duggan

Karen Duggan

Youth and Community Engagement Worker

Karen has an honours degree in Public Health and Health Promotion. Karen has been involved in the Jigsaw project since it first opened and was appointed Youth and Community Engagement Worker in October 2014. Karen works with the Youth Advisory Panel and is also out in the community promoting positive mental health. 

Claire Curran

Claire has a degree in Mental Health Nursing and is a Qualified Holistic Massage Therapist. Claire has worked in both hospital and community settings providing support and nursing care to people with a range of mental health issues. Claire believes in providing nursing care that is person-centred, supporting people to develop the skills, knowledge and confidence they need to effectively manage their own mental health.

Sonya Carey

Sonya Carey

Jigsaw Clinician

Sonya has worked in Jigsaw since June 2016. Before Jigsaw, Sonya worked as a teacher and an educational psychologist for 15 years. She has enjoyed working with children and young people as well as those around them to promote success and mental and emotional wellbeing in education and in their wider lives. Sonya believes in empowering others to understand and care for themselves and encouraging supportive environments by raising awareness about mental health .
