Meet the Jigsaw Donegal Team
Dr. Maeve Mangaoang
Interim Clinical Coordinator
Maeve is a Senior Clinical Psychologist in the HSE Donegal. She has extensive experience of working with children, adolescents and young adults from her previously held positions, including private practice at Northwest Psychology Services, the HSE Psychology Department in Letterkenny, Co. Donegal, Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital, Crumlin and the HSE Dublin Mid-Leinster. As Interim Clinical Coordinator in Jigsaw Donegal, Maeve’s role is to provide managerial support to the Jigsaw Donegal Team in addition to contributing to the development of the service in Donegal.
Clinical Support Worker
Colleen Kearney has a degree in Psychology and a Social work qualification. Colleen has experience in working within a child and adolescent mental health service as well as working with young people in the care system. Colleen is particularly passionate about early intervention for young people, as she recognises how having early therapeutic intervention can have a significant role in preventing long term or enduring mental health difficulties developing. Colleen feels its a priviliege to work in Jigsaw and to be able to help young people through their journey in life.
Clinical Support Worker
Una is a qualified social worker and youth worker and has a wide range of experience working with children, young people and parents. Una enjoys offering therapeutic support to young people and enabling people to make positive choices and decisions.
Emma has an honours degree in Community & Family Studies. Emma joined the Jigsaw Donegal Team in 2015 as Administration Officer. Emma is particularly passionate about ensuring that every young person who comes to Jigsaw Donegal is welcomed in a friendly, caring manner as she recognises that it can take a lot of courage to come to Jigsaw for the first time. Emma also assists Karen and the Youth Advisory Panel on their many varied projects.
Youth and Community Engagement Worker
Karen has an honours degree in Public Health and Health Promotion. Karen has been involved in the Jigsaw project since it first opened and was appointed Youth and Community Engagement Worker in October 2014. Karen works with the Youth Advisory Panel and is also out in the community promoting positive mental health.
