“I jumped at the chance”

by Jigsaw Meath 18 May 2011 Filed under: Meath

Jigsaw Meath is giving young people a chance to influence our own well-being and help shape the services aimed at promoting good mental health which is vital for a bright future.

I got involved with the project through a teacher in my school. I jumped at the opportunity to voice my ideas and opinions and more importantly have them listened to.

I think Jigsaw will over time be a well known and trusted organisation amongst young people and will help improve the attitude towards mental health and how it needs to be protected and nurtured rather than abused.
