Jigsaw Meath Stories
What Works 4 U

Everybody develops good Mental Health in different ways, and there's no one approach that will work for everybody. "What Works 4 U .org" are trying to find out about all the different things young people are doing to stay well, stay positive, and stay strong. It could be music, socialising, a sport, a hobby, mindfulness, talking to someone.
Jigsaw is a new concept! "Well what is it?"

Hi, my name is James. I’m a member of the Reachout.com Youth Advisory Network and also a member of Jigsaw Meath’s Youth Advisory Panel. I’ve been involved with Jigsaw Meath for about 3 years now and finally I’m beginning to see the results unfolding. It’s taken a long time but finally we’ve got there! Our new youth cafe recently opened in the centre of Navan.
“We want young people to be noticed for the good they do”

The Youth Advisory Panel (YAP) brings young people of different ages, backgrounds and from different areas together for one common goal and purpose. We all want one thing; to help make Meath a better place for young people to live. In doing this we look at the different issues that affect young people, and as young people this is obviously easier as we are going through this also.
“I jumped at the chance”
Jigsaw Meath is giving young people a chance to influence our own well-being and help shape the services aimed at promoting good mental health which is vital for a bright future.
I got involved with the project through a teacher in my school. I jumped at the opportunity to voice my ideas and opinions and more importantly have them listened to.
