At Jigsaw Galway, we believe in working with communities to support young people's mental health and wellbeing. There are lots of ways you can get involved.
Spread the word
If you know a friend or young person who needs to talk to someone, then let them know about Jigsaw Galway. Even if they don't get in touch straight away, at least they’ll know we’re here if they want to, and they in turn can pass on the word about Jigsaw to someone else.
Join our Youth Advisory Panel
Jigsaw Galway is committed to making sure that young people's voices are heard, and we practise what we preach. Our Youth Advisory Panel (YAP), made up of young people from across the county, works with us to make sure that we develop genuinely youth-friendly services, and that young people are involved in decision-making at every level.
Says Mary Ann, YAP member since 2007, “The Youth Panel have been involved in everything from choosing the colour of the carpets in the drop in centre to meeting government Ministers to try and guarantee funding for the service. It was a great feeling being asked to meet two government Ministers, Eamon Ó Cuiv and Mary Harney. It showed me that Jigsaw were serious about our involvement and respected our opinions. Jigsaw even got members of the Youth Panel to interview staff!”

Donate
Times are tough for most people at the moment, but you can be sure that anything you have to offer will go a long way in supporting young people. Please donate whatever you can... you can drop it in to Jigsaw Galway, lodge money in our bank account (call us for details) or donate online through mycharity.ie.
Raise funds
You can also help to raise essential funds for Jigsaw Galway by undertaking a personal challenge, organising a fundraising event in your community or asking your company to get involved.
We can provide resources to help you, such as information leaflets, sponsorship cards, letters, t-shirts, or collection buckets.
