How can Jigsaw Roscommon help?
If things are getting you down, or you're worried about someone, it can be hard sometimes to know where to turn. Jigsaw Roscommon is here to help.
Sometimes it can seem like there's a lot to deal with. Studies, work, friends and family, sex and relationships, drugs and alcohol can all put pressure on young people.
Raising awareness
If you're struggling with a problem, it can be hard sometimes to admit you need help. Negative stereotypes and the pressure to just get on with things can make it harder. Jigsaw Roscommon's Youth Advisory Committee is working on plans to get people in the community talking about mental health and well being, and make it easier for young people to get the help they need.
Training
Specific training can help people get a better understanding of what mental health means, how to support young people and how to create a community that is supportive of mental well being. Jigsaw Roscommon is working with communities in the county and with organisations working with young people to deliver useful and practical training. See our events pages for details of events coming up.
