What is the Youth Advisory Panel?
The Youth Advisory Panel, or YAP, is a group of young people from across the county who advise us on providing and developing our support services for young people. The YAP are a core element of Jigsaw Meath and are fundamental to everything we do. There are usually around 15 members of the YAP, and people are aged between 16 and 25.
Their role is to represent their own views, as young people in Meath; to represent Jigsaw within their community and to make joint decisions with us on the running of Jigsaw’s services and we would love to hear from young people from all communities, schools, colleges or areas across Meath. The YAP also help out with fundraising events and with helping us promote the idea of positive mental health.
If you’re interested in joining the Youth Advisory Panel at Jigsaw Meath, send us an email to email@example.com or phone up on 046 907 1702. We meet with people who are interested in joining and see how they can contribute and what they’re interested in.
